Manchester City faces threat of expulsion from Premier League due to points deduction

The club risks relegation from the Premier League and a hefty fine due to potential financial violations, reports Daily Mail.

Under a sufficiently severe sanction, the team may leave the Premier League and be relegated to the Championship. Relegation directly to League Two—the English fourth-tier division—is considered unlikely.
