Uzbekistan and China's Shanxi Province to Strengthen Business Ties
Companies from Uzbekistan and Shanxi have signed cooperation agreements in logistics, construction, energy, and technology.
On 19 October, a conference was held in Tashkent. Uzbekistan was represented by Sherzod Ibragimov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Shanxi delegation was led by Jiao Yufeng, Secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Committee for the Promotion of International Trade.
The discussions focused on increasing mutual trade, investments, industrial cooperation, and establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs. Priority sectors included transport, traditional and renewable energy, the production of energy equipment, infrastructure construction, and the food and chemical industries.
The Shanxi delegation presented the potential of the province's enterprises and expressed interest in joint projects in Uzbekistan.
