Egypt delays changes to entry rules for Uzbek citizens until March 2027
The postponement was agreed upon following negotiations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the republic's embassy in Egypt with the Egyptian side.

Until March 1, 2027, citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to visit the country under the previous conditions, the foreign policy agency reported.
Initially, the new requirements were planned to be introduced from November 1, 2026. They included prior visa processing, organizing trips through tour operators, and additional restrictions for tourists under 40 years of age.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan will also continue working with foreign partners to expand travel opportunities, including the introduction of visa-free regimes and simplification of existing border crossing procedures.
