Work abroad will be considered when assigning pensions in Uzbekistan
Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to accelerate negotiations on recognizing the work experience of Uzbeks accumulated in other countries

At a meeting on November 2, Mirziyoyev instructed to expedite the conclusion of agreements that will allow foreign work experience to be considered when assigning pensions in Uzbekistan. According to him, Uzbeks legally work in more than 40 countries, and in many of them, they pay pension contributions along with taxes.
Currently, the experience gained abroad and the pension contributions made there are often not considered in Uzbekistan. The President stated that upon the return of labor migrants to their homeland, their work experience must be counted when assigning a pension.
This year, Uzbekistan has already concluded agreements on recognizing work experience and pension rights with Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey. Mirziyoyev instructed to intensify similar negotiations with Russia, South Korea, Japan, Germany, the Baltic countries, and the Balkans.
Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov, Minister of Employment Botir Zakhidov, and other responsible officials must conduct negotiations with their counterparts from these countries. By the end of the year, they are instructed to present a report on the specific results of the work.
