Drivers will no longer be warned by signs about mobile radars

In Uzbekistan, the requirement to install warning signs before mobile radars has been abolished. The 'Radar' sign must now be placed only before stationary speed control devices.

This is provided for by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 596 dated 29 October 2026. The document states that the sign must be installed at a distance of 250 to 500 meters from a stationary radar.

Previously, this requirement was contained in Clause 9 of Resolution No. 318 dated 15 May 2025. It applied to road sections with stationary radars monitoring speed and came into force on 1 September 2025. In the new version, the mention of mobile devices has been removed.
