Beautiful phone numbers can now be resold on the exchange
UZEX has launched a service with instant buyout, deal protection through a guarantee deposit, and online re-registration via my.gov.uz
The Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) has created an opportunity for individuals and legal entities to sell mobile phone numbers they use through electronic trading.
Users can sell their mobile numbers via the electronic trading system mobilraqam.uzex.uz through an auction or by concluding a deal using the "Quick Deal" mechanism.
In the first stage, the seller and buyer undergo free online registration in the electronic trading system. After this, the seller lists the mobile number for sale. The buyer, in turn, selects a suitable number from the catalog and participates in the auction or concludes a deal using the "Quick Deal" function without waiting for the auction to end.
To participate in the trading, the seller deposits a guarantee fee of 1% of the number's value, while the buyer deposits 3%. The guarantee deposits made before the start of trading ensure that both parties fulfill their obligations under the concluded deal.
After determining the winner, the mobile number can be re-registered online via the my.gov.uz portal or at the office of the respective mobile operator. Upon completion of the re-registration procedure, UZEX transfers the funds for the sold number to the seller.
