Google Launches AI App Dreambeans in India with Personalized Recommendations
Google has expanded access to its experimental app Dreambeans to India—the first market outside the U.S.
The service uses artificial intelligence to generate a daily selection of personalized recommendations in the form of short illustrated stories. Dreambeans is available on Android and iOS and supports 14 languages, including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali.
The app helps users discover interesting places, choose activities, and stay updated on upcoming events. For example, it can remind users about an event from their calendar or suggest leisure ideas based on their interests. To do this, Dreambeans, with the account owner’s permission, uses data from connected Google services—Calendar, Gemini, Gmail, Photos, Search, and YouTube. Recommendations are generated automatically, without the need to send an AI request each time.
Users can select only one language for recommendations. While the app can utilize information from services in multiple languages, it does not mix them within a single piece of content.
