LEGO to Release Massive Godzilla Set with Over 5,000 Pieces
LEGO has unveiled a construction set featuring a Godzilla figurine made of 5,363 pieces. Sales of the set will begin on November 27, with a price tag of $450.
The model is based on Godzilla from the MonsterVerse film universe, specifically the movie *Godzilla II: King of the Monsters*. When assembled, the figurine will stand over 70 centimeters tall, with a width of 27 centimeters and a length of 40 centimeters. The company expects the assembly to be a challenge even for experienced LEGO enthusiasts.
The model will feature movable parts, including the head, jaw, arms, wrists, fingers, and tail. The tail can be secured in a curved position to the left or right, allowing for a suitable pose.
The set will include pieces for a blue energy beam—Godzilla’s signature atomic breath. The beam can be placed in the monster’s mouth, though it can be replaced with a regular tongue if desired. The company continues to release construction sets based on music and pop culture themes; recently, it unveiled a project inspired by the Daft Punk concert show, recreating the stage setup from the Alive 2007 tour.
